Fossil Beach - Westmoreland State Park

Westmoreland State Park, VA

The Story

We visited Westmoreland State Park. It's a Virginia State park along the Potomac River before it feeds into the Chesapeake Bay. Therefore, the water is brackish. We saw a few jellyfish wandering about. To get to Fossil Beach, we hiked through the Turkey Neck Trail.
