The Story
The United States Botanic Garden is the oldest continuously operating public garden in the United States. George Washington was a big advocate of its creation.
Before you enter, outdoor gardens greet you. You'll see pollinator plants, lawns, rose gardens, and fountains with the US Capitol building in the background.
As you walk into the Conservatory, there is a Garden Court. Its fountains, benches, and open space make it the perfect relaxation place. From there you walk into the main room called the Tropics. You can see it from the ground floor or the platforms above.
After which you can follow along a path and experience the other biomes. There are the Mediterranean, Orchids, Medicinal Plants, Deserts, Hawaii, and Primeval Garden. By the end, you'll feel refreshed by plants from around the world.
