The Story
Today we're biking on the W&OD trail from Vienna, VA to Reston. The Vienna portion has artifacts from when it was a railroad that served Washington DC commuters. Today the full trail is 45 miles from Purcellville to Shirlington, VA.
The mural celebrates the train and bike culture in Vienna. Between the cities it's very lush and green. You know you're near Reston when you start to see very large new office and residential buildings.
